Welcome! If you or someone you care about is having difficulty hearing, you already know how frustrating hearing impairment can be. Hearing loss is typically not a complete loss of hearing but a loss of communication...a loss of clarity and understanding of the spoken word and even the subtle sounds of nature. The simple sounds of everyday life that so many of us take for granted connect us in a way no other sense can, making us a part of the world around us and not just outside observers looking in. Whether you are here today to just gather information or are ready to finally take that first step towards better hearing, we are here to help!
We received a Christmas card with the following quote. The words really touched my heart and my spirit and reminded me of how important the little things can be. People are still good. We are blessed to see it everyday. Even the skeptics and pessimists notice how random acts of kindness increase after each national tragedy. There is an innate desire to make something good happen and restore balance at a time when so little makes sense. We all have the ability to make a difference. Let's keep these words close and remember:
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." ~ Leo F. Buscaglia
